Open space, public access, fewer homes.
No, we do not need 3632 homes built on property owned by Orange County, to the benefit of Orange County, annexed by the city of Highland, in an area that has been wild and undeveloped for nearly 100 years. We see nothing that we like about "Harmony." Now, despite the objections for the Center for Biological Diversity, Sierra Club, Audubon Society, the Crafton Hills Open Space Conservancy and numerous other local organizations, the City of Highland intends to proceed with medium and high-density housing in an area that has no tolerance for habitat destruction. We the friends of Greenspot and the surrounding areas want properly managed open space, retention of existing 2 acre lot zoning, and better wildlife habitat protection.
